Released chapters

The story so far.

Each chapter follows the story as it unfolds through song and image.

01
Fotografia din cabină
A young Romanian pilot keeps his beloved’s photograph beside the cockpit instruments. She waits below while the road home begins to disappear into the clouds.
02
Nu stinge lampa, inimă
The woman waits beside the lamp, searching the ether and every scrap of news for a trace of his voice without surrendering hope.
03
Aripa din vis
The vigil opens into a dream. In rain and moonlight, he appears playing the violin as memory, hope and the possibility of news blur into one.

Historical inspiration

IAR-81C no. 397

The aircraft in the Andreus story is fictional, but its markings draw on IAR-81C no. 397. On 24 April 1944, pilot Pavel Bucșă shot down a B-24 before the damaged aircraft made a forced landing. The story borrows only this historical anchor; its characters and events remain fictional.

What remains unknown

Beyond the marked crash site, the story falls silent.

The dream may be memory, hope or the first echo of news. For now, the signal ends there.
